Greifenberger Institut für Musikinstrumentenkunde
The initiator and sponsor of Chronopolis is a non-profit limited company. The institute is dedicated to research in the field of musical instrument science and the documentation of historical musical instruments. Cultural production and design techniques are reworked by reproducing historical craft processes. The resulting reconstructions of instruments based on the findings allow lost soundscapes to be recreated.
